Ever since I was a young boy I have been captivated by the magic of photographic images. I love the way that they seize a moment in time and hold it forever. I’m continually amazed at how pictures have the ability to grab a person’s heart and awaken sleeping emotions deep in their soul. From the moment I received my first camera, a “brownie” box camera that my father used as a young boy, I have been impassioned with the desire to create images that show the wonders of the world around us.


It is this obsession that is the driving force in my life and my work. It moves me to capture the action, the emotions, and the spirit of life for the pleasure of others. As a professional photographer for over 29 years, that is what I have strived to do at Don Laurence Photography.

After over 27 years creating memories for clients in New York, as of June 7th, 2017, I have relocated to Arizona so I can live by my daughter and grand children, and start creating new memories with family, and clients, there.
